In the year 2007 the manifest „The Coming insurrection“ written by the „Invisible Committee“ caused furor. Even the feuilleton of middle class newspapers suddenly discussed the possibility and necessity for an insurrection. With the onset of the global financial and accumulation crisis of capitalism this debate gained unanticipatedly a dramatic momentum. The decade long hegemony of neoliberalism suddenly unhinged and in the cause social struggles, riots and revolts intensified in different world regions: Beginning with the riots in Greece after the murder of young activist Alexis Grigoropoulos in December 2008; the successful insurgencies in Tunisia and Egypt in Spring 2011; the civil wars fed up revolts in Libya and Syria; the social struggles and strikes against the pushing of the crisis costs and the austerity measures of the Troika in Greece, Portugal and Spain; the quickly spreading Occupy Wall Street movement and their squatting. This new cycle of movements and struggles, against the backdrop of the continuing crisis, has turned the perspective for an insurrection new tangibility. We would like to discuss with activists from South Europe and North Africa about the social struggles and insurrections. We do not want to ignore the contradictions and set backs that the insurgent movements and processes face. For this we invited an interesting international panel: a comrade from a commune in Tarnac, who had been jailed, accused of sabotage and assumed co-authorship for the “The Coming Insurrection”. He will speak about the insurrection debate in France. We will discuss the social movements in post-revolutionary Tunisia and the dangers of a Islamic roll-back with a libertarian activist from Tunisia. A comrade from the autonomous quarter committee in Barcelonja will discuss with us the squatting of central squares and the movement against the forced removals in Spain. An Athens based anarchist activist will provide insight into the struggles against the brutal austerity regime and the rising racism in Greece. Im Jahr 2007 sorgte das "Unsichtbare Komitee" mit seinem Manifest "Der kommende Aufstand" für Furore. Bis in das Feuilleton "bürgerlicher Qualitätsblätter" hinein wurde plötzlich über die Möglichkeit und die Notwendigkeit eines Aufstands diskutiert. Mit dem Ausbruch der globalen Finanz- und Akkumulationskrise des Kapitalismus erhielt diese Debatte eine unvorhergesehene Dramatik. Die Jahrzehnte währende Hegemonie des Neoliberalismus geriet plötzlich ins Wanken. In der Folge kam es zu einer ungeheuren Verdichtung von Kämpfen, Aufständen und Revolten in verschiedenen Regionen der Welt: Angefangen mit dem Aufstand in Griechenland nach der Ermordung von Alexis Grigoropoulus,über die erfolgreichen Revolutionen in Ägypten und Tunesien, die Aufstände gegen weitere autoritäre Regime in der Region bis hin zu den großen Sozialprotesten gegen das Spardiktat der sogenannten Troika in einigen südeuropäischen Ländern und der sich schnell global ausweitenden Occupy-Bewegung mit ihren Platzbesetzungen. Dieser neue Zyklus von Bewegungen und Kämpfen vor dem Hintergrund der anhaltenden Krise hat die Perspektive eines Aufstands konkreter und greifbarer gemacht. Wir wollen mit Aktivist_innen aus verschiedenen Ländern und Bewegungen über die sozialen Kämpfe und Aufstände reden. Dabei wollen wir auch die Widersprüche und Rückschläge nicht ausblenden, mit denen sich die aufständischen Bewegungen und Prozesse konfrontiert sehen. Hierzu haben wir ein interessantes international besetztes Podium eingeladen: Ein Genosse der Kommune aus Tarnac, der wegen des Vorwurfs der Sabotage und der vermuteten Autorenschaft des Manifestes "Der kommende Aufstand" für mehrere Monate inhaftiert war, wird uns über die Aufstandsdiskussion in Frankreich berichten.Über die sozialen Bewegungen im postrevolutionären Tunesien und die Gefahren eines islamistischen Rollbacks werden wir mit einem libertären Aktivisten aus Tunis diskutieren.Über die Platzbesetzungen und die Bewegung gegen Zwangsräumungen in Spanien wird uns ein Genossen aus den autonomen Stadtteilkomitees in Barcelona informieren. Die Kämpfe gegen das brutale Krisenregime und gegen den aufflammenden Rassismus in Griechenland wird uns eine anarchistische Aktivistin aus Athen vorstellen. Die labournet-Redakteurin Mag Wompel wird das Gespräch moderieren.
