Today, after the end of the Anti-Globalization-Movement, many comrades are active in local struggles. What ideas move along with us in Val Susa or Greece? Some organize themselves on the long run in urban neighborhoods or the countryside. How can we achieve a secession, the independence of the hamsters from their wheels ? How does this shift in point of view modify the way we see the struggles of the Others? Can it shake the usual "us" and "them" dichotomy? Can it once again help us imagine the rebellion inside the belly of the beast? Instead of wallowing in enthusiasm for insurrections, which always take place elsewhere or happened long ago… How does this shift manifest itself practically? What does desertation mean besides the legitimate departure of soldiers from the battlefield ? What does it mean to go to the other side? And how can it be more than a protest against a bloodbath or a demo against the war? For ourselves in our daily lives and for the intensity and the sincerity of the bonds we enter into? Both in the struggles worldwide and the ones at home. If we turn away from this destructive system and its lullabies, how can this be done in an offensive way? How can we do it together? How does it become tangible that we are taking our lives back? That we won't fight their wars anymore. We won't fight against their competitors and our weariness. Because from now on we are fighting for our land: the land liberated from nationstates, corporations and dominations of all kinds. Our land that is all over the world and which will bear many names.
