Anti fascist camp 2012 in Dortmund

From the 24.8.2012 till the 2.9.2012 anti fascist groups from North Rhine Westphalia are planning a broad based country wide antifascist camp in Dortmund. The city with its annual anti war march by Nazis plays an important role in the German Nazi community. Our aim is to disrupt the "direct action weeks" proclaimed by the Nazis and to together with the Dortmund alliance resist against the right wing march on the 1. of September. We also want to share experiences and open up space for experimentation regarding antifascist struggles. We would like to use the camp to combine anti Nazi activism with issues like societal and state racism, to pose the social question in an anti fascist and anti authoritarian manner, and to make a progressive anti militarist statement.

Vom 24.8.2012 bis zum 2.9.2012 planen antifaschistische Gruppen aus NRW ein störmungübergreifendes, bundesweites Antifacamp in Dortmund. Dortmund spielt mit dem jährlich stattfindenden Naziaufmarsch zum Antikriegstag eine wichtige Rolle für die bundesweite Naziszene. Unser Ziel ist es, die von den Nazis ausgerufenen “Aktionswochen” deutlich zu stören und gemeinsam mit den Dortmunder Bündnissen dem rechten Aufmarsch am 1. September unseren Widerstand entgegenzusetzen. Auch geht es uns darum, ein Experimentierfeld für antifaschistische Kämpfe zu schaffen und Erfahrungen bundesweit austauschen zu können. Neben der Notwendigkeit den Nazis sprichwörtlich einen Strich durch ihre Mobilisierung zu machen, möchten wir das Camp nutzen, Antinaziarbeit mit Themen wie gesellschaftlichen und staatlichen Rassismus zu verbinden, die soziale Frage klar antiautoritär und antifaschistisch zu stellen und progressive antimilitaristische Akzente zu setzen.
