Guided tour "Erfurt in National Socialism"

The tour follows the motto "Dig where you stand!": It tells about forced labourers in the buildings that are used by the Fachhochschule today, about the subversive worker's youth in the north of Erfurt, it leads us to the last residence of deported jews and to the former domicile of the trade-unions that was attacked by the armed and uniformed branch of the NSDAP on May 2, 1933. An alternative tour off the beaten tourist-track.

Der Rundgang folgt dem Motto "Grabe, wo Du stehst!": Er erzählt von ZwangsarbeiterInnen auf dem heutigen FH-Gelände und von widerständigen Arbeiterjugendlichen im Erfurter Norden, er führt zum letzten Wohnort deportierter Jüdinnen und Juden und vorbei am alten Gewerkschaftshaus, das am 2. Mai 1933 von der SA gestürmt wurde. Ein alternativer Rundgang durch Erfurt abseits der Touristenwege. Treffpunkt: 17 Uhr, Eingang Altonaer Straße, Dauer ca. 2 Stunden
