Towards Coordinated European Action for the Right to Housing and to the City

Im ersten Teil der europäischen Vernetzungsphase wollen wir bereits bestehende Ideen und Vorschläge zur Errichtung einer europäischen Plattform verschiedener Wohnrechts- und Recht-auf-Stadt Gruppen diskutieren. Wir sehen die Notwendigkeit ein stabiles Bündnis aus Organisationen zu schaffen, das einerseits auf gemeinsamen Aktionen und gemeinsamen Forderungen basiert und andererseits durch Arbeitsgruppen begleitet wird für offenen Informationsaustausch, Veröffentlichungen, Recherche und politische Theorie. Im zweiten Teil möchten wir Vorschläge für eine europäische Aktionsagenda für die kommenden Monate diskutieren – insbesondere die Aktionstage im Oktober und weitere Planungen für einende europäische Forderungen und Kampagnen werden eine Rolle spielen. Organisiert durch das „Europäische Aktionsbündnis für ein Recht auf Wohnen und ein Recht auf Stadt“ Die Vernetzungsphase wird nur auf Englisch stattfinden.

In the first part of this European networking meeting we want to discuss existing proposals for the building of European platforms of housing-rights- and right-to-the city groups. We believe that it is necessary to build a stabilized coalition of organizations which is based on common actions and common demands, but which is also accompanied by tools and teams for open communication and publishing, investigations and political theory. In the second part we want to discuss proposals for a European action agenda for the next months, especially the days of action in October and further plans for unifying European demands and campaigns.
